Members of the press interested in covering Voice of the People Action or “The Listen to the People Pledge,” should reach out to media@vopaction.org.

Voice of the People Action encourages the media to ask questions of congressional candidates regarding if they pledge to listen to their constituents as a whole. The press has a duty to hold candidates and elected officials accountable for their actions when they contradict the will of their voters.

We encourage journalists to ask questions of House and Senate candidates, such as:

Will you take into account the views of your constituents, as a whole, not just those that voted or donated to your campaign?
How do you plan to engage your constituents in the policymaking process?
